Twiddle Muffs are a crocheted or knitted muff with buttons and baubles attached. When given to people with dementia, Alzheimer or Autism it helps calm them and occupy their “impulsive and restless” hands and provides warmth. There is definitely a need for people to make the muffs but there is also a real need for yarn for the kits. Please consider donating any unused yarn. To make it easy you can drop it off at Long Tail Knits, 9828 Valley View Rd, Macdonia, Oh, 44056 or at Northfield HealthMarlets, 10512 Northfield Rd, Northfield, Oh, 44067 or call their office at 330-908-0200 and someone will come pick it up.<\/p>\n
